Let's say, at night, at an unknown point in time, a bunch of aurors were fulfilling their duties around the village of Greeve. Wands in their extended arms, with Lumos cast at their tip, were moving across the street, at a wide distance from each other. One of the Aurors took the tip of the wand, which had stopped illuminating eventually, and poked it into the left cheek of his face. "I think he's near the lake. Probably so, gentlemen, let's advance in that direction," said the auror who was wearing a greyish cloth, wrapped around his body, giving him a look of an ancient Muggle philosopher, though all the others had been covered in the same attire. seven feet away halt another auror who did the same gesture of poking the wand to his left cheek and said, "No soul has ever returned from that doomed lake Argus, are you sure? that we nonetheless shall advance?",
"Can you find his soul in this land, Helton? I strongly suggest that half of the lot stay put where they are, and the other half follow me to the blood lake," replied the auror named Argus.
Meanwhile, near the edge of the lake, famously known as the 'Blood Lake', was a deserted coast, where no soul shall be seen. But the coast was surrounded by dense and bushy forest where lay all sorts of beasts one can imagine. No wonder no one had ever returned from the blood lake. But at a certain distance from the shore, a bush shook a little, revealing a man bent on his knees to his face, sitting like an egg, trying his best not to make a movement. The man from one slit of his folded knees saw to his horror the moonlit blood lake shine with something brighter and no sooner than that he was able to hear the sound of certain footsteps approaching him. The man raised his head from his knees to realize the full picture. His face was pale with an expression of sudden shock and fear, and was covered in mud all over.
The sounds of approaching footsteps were increasingly getting louder when he kneeled forward on his arms and legs pretending to be a dog, and moved slowly forward to what we can presume were two objects. He extended his arms in an attempt to get hold of them and was able to pick them up on time, giving him a sigh of relief. "There he is!" said Argus loudly, showering his lit wand over the man's face, which was struck with a lightning of horror, and it was revealing in his hand a shabby-looking book. The man attempted the run at the very sight of aurors when he ran towards to blood lake. Unable to use his wand for both of his hands were occupied with objects, he made his way out of the Auror's reach as fast as he could, when he had finally reached the shore.
The man, using his full strength, threw both of the objects into the lake, finally panting and taking a sigh of relief. "Stupefy!" shouted a distant auror, and others came running towards the man who was now as still as he had been freezing for ages, and fell to the ground with a sound of thud. The aurors circled him, showering the lights from their wands onto his grim-looking face, from where the eyes were protruding in horror.
