THE WIZARD- ACT 7

 SCENE 1

London, The Randall's Theater,

A crowd filled in the entire theater with every eye waiting for Magician Thomas Geedar to appear on the stage. In the Audience, there are Detect Eadger and Charlie Spencer seated as well, waiting for their turn to volunteer to expose Thomas

Enter Thomas,

Thomas: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a brand new evening show. I hope we all have gotten rid of the nostalgia that we got from the last show, where you all wholeheartedly welcomed my 30-year-old self! well continuing from there I would like to bring my latest magic trick before you!

Eadger: (Loudly) Before you start! I would like to say something!

All eyes are on Eadger

Thomas: Everyone please welcome my friend Detective Eadger on the stage, a big round of applause for Eadger (Public Applauses)

Eadger: The Public will applaud, I do not tell my audience to applaud, they do it because they like it!

Thomas: We will see, say what you want to say

Eadger: I had cracked the magic trick with Magician Thomas Geedar performed, The Passage Of Time, is now in my hands!

The public starts chattering among themselves

Thomas: (Whispers) You like getting humiliated?

Eadger: We will see

Thomas: All right! here is the deal, if Detective Eadger is even fifty percent right today, I will pay the entire prize of 50,000 pounds to him, but if he is wrong, he will pay me not 500 pounds, but complete 50,000 pounds.

The public starts chattering, Charlie is astonished by the bet and tries to convince Eadger to not accept the deal with his eyes. But Eadger nods to not give up this time.

Eadger: I accept your offer.

Thomas: Well then let's begin with your crap, I am sorry, your theory sir. (Public Laughs)

Eadger: So, the trick starts in the year 1951. A young Thomas Geedar enters the Randalls Theater looking for an opportunity to earn fame, meanwhile, his father is hidden in the Almira already, waiting for the correct time to appear. Thomas cuts his hand to pour blood, Thomas' father William Geedar also does so inside the Almira. And now he goes inside the Almira and changes sides with his father.

William Geedar comes out with the same scar on his hand and shows it to the public, and in his medical reports, he is proven to be 70 years old. After five years, no one asks William to prove that he is 70 years of age, everyone is convinced, and some people have forgotten. And then William dies. Meanwhile, Thomas shows up with the makeup of an old man and convinces him that he is 70 years old. And spends the rest of his life, like an old 70-year-old man.

But underneath, his family is living in France, his wife Lily lives in Venice, and his son Peter Geedar lives in France. Lily married Doctor Smith as a formality, but later divorced him to marry Thomas, which was always his plan to prepare fake proofs about Lily's marriage with Dr. Smith. After thirty years, Thomas had turned 60 years of age and had yet been disguised as a seventy-year-old man. Then one day, Peter came to London disguised as a crew member and hid himself in the Almira. And on the day of the trick. Peter replaced Thomas and started enacting as a 30-year-old man, which is actually is.

Thomas starts to clap

Thomas: Bravo! you made up a whole lot of stories. Your own doctor proved that I was 70 years old that day, and you yourself stole all of my documents, including my family history. You were the one to talk to Roger Elvis, and Lily from Venice about my past life, and verified, that the story I told you was correct. And now something new. You are proving yourself as a rookie Detective.

Eadger: At least you would agree, that it was your father who took your place in 1951!

Thomas: My father died! when I was 20 years old! How many times do I need to repeat myself! Are you a deaf detective? My father died!

Eadger: It was your mother who died when you were 20 years old!

Public and Charlie are struck with lightening after hearing this

Eadger: It was your mother who died when you were 20, and your father disguised himself as your mother wearing your mother's attire, so that everyone thinks, that your father had died! while he was still alive. And all these years you kept up the show and came to London with your father. And that is how you did your trick. Is that enough for 50 percent of the truth?

Thomas: You win.

The public applauds and Charlie stands up to applaud for Eadger

Thomas Exits

Charlie: How did you do it, Boss? I am so much proud of you!

Eadger: Magic was always there, you just couldn't see it, Charles, you couldn't see it.

Charlie: What do you mean?

Eadger Exits, Charlie Exits

SCENE 2

Thomas Geedar's Office Backstage

Enter Eadger and Charlie

Thomas: You bastard! now they know my trick! all of them!

Eadger: You had made enough money to keep your generations alive.

Thomas: Well, thanks for reminding that!

Thomas throws a pile of cash on Eadger and Charlie

Charlie: Why so pissed off dumbass! you wanted him to expose you, and now he did! couldn't take the insult you gave to him and me!

Thomas: Look! The shadow is speaking!

Charlie punches Thomas on the nose, and his nose starts to bleed

Charlie: I am not his shadow, I am Charlie Spencer

Thomas: Yes, you are! and do not be so glad, you couldn't expose me completely, it was just fifty percent of the actual trick, you see magic is everywhere!

Charlie: You said, 50 percent, what about the other truth of the trick

Thomas starts laughing

Thomas: Well, your partner was right, I am Peter Geedar! and my father is Thomas Geedar, and my Grandfather is William Geedar, and we all performed this trick, not just to earn money, but because we had a passion for magic!

Charlie: You proved everywhere that you were 70 years of age, and that you have no family history. How did you do that?

Thomas starts to laugh

Charlie: I am asking how did you do that?

Thomas: I gave you the answer already my dear, I used duplicates, I had a brother Criek Geedar. You see magic is everywhere, you just couldn't see it, Charles.

Charlie, with a sense of doubt, looks behind him, to find Eadger Smiling to himself

Charlie: Oh my God

Eadger: I am sorry Charles, I had to do this.

Charlie: Pork's smell, and taste of wine eh, you were the Pork all this time!

Eadger: I said I am sorry

Charlie: How could I miss that, Eadger is an anagram of Geedar, and Erick is an anagram of Criek! You are Criek Geedar, indeed!

Eadger: I am begging you, Charles

Charlie: You took over the case so that you can manipulate all the evidence. Because everything went through you, and only you. You manipulated all the evidence to prove that he is indeed...

Eadger: Enough of that! I am done with all that rage of yours Charlie! I saw you as a brother more than him! He and my filthy father abandoned me because I looked different that him. I was Dr. Smith's son, he took me along with my mother and gave me his name. My entire life was thrashed by their magic trick, and that's why I wanted to do this to them! and you see I did it.

Peter Geedar: But at what cost? you already lost a friend, am I right Charles?

Eadger: Hey don't listen to him, he is not my brother, you are my brother, Charles, you were the one who gave purpose to my life. They used me like a pawn in their game, and I always wanted to expose them and ruin their trick, since I was a kid. They made me a detective, they used me to their will.

Charlie: If you already knew, that, why didn't you expose them earlier

Enter the real Thomas Geedar

Thomas: Because, he wanted us to believe him, and then break our trust to hurt us.

Charlie takes out a gun and points it at Peter Geedar

Charlie: If he dies, your truth will be exposed to the entire world Geedar, you will have no other option

Thomas: You can leave. Everything is already finished. You ruined everything I built Criek, and for that, you are never welcomed back into our lives.

Eadger: Happily!

SCENE 3

A cemetery

Eadger Erick is standing near a grave named for Criek Geedar, Charlie Enters

Charlie: How does it feel to be free?

Eadger: I was always free Charles

Charlie: How does it feel standing near your own grave?

Eadger: Relief, actually.

Enter Doctor Francis Jacob

Doctor Jacob: Howdie Mates!

Charlie: You called him?

Eadger: No, I didn't, Hey Doctor!

Doctor Jacob: Good news folks, that magician got exposed! but some other detective got the credit, he is called...

Eadger: JJ Warren, I know, I was the one who presented him with all the proofs

Doctor Jacob: So glad! you made it pal, but why not take the credit, but hey all this time, it was his elder brother, some Criek Geedar, who was helping them hide the evidence.

Charlie: Don't you realize, you are standing on his grave!

Doctor Jacob: Shit! I didn't realize that, so if he is dead, he just saved his ass from jurisdiction

Charlie and Eadger laugh to each other and Doctor gets confused

Charlie: So, that is the look on their face every time?

Doctor Jacob: Their face? what are you talking about Charlie?

Eadger: Yeah, most of the time it is like that, (whispering to Charlie) but hey don't ruin the fun, because a magician always hides his secret, remember.

Doctor Jacob: Will you make it clear, what are we talking about exactly?

Eadger: It's always in front of your eyes doctor, but you cannot see it.

Doctor Jacob: Magic?

Eadger: Do you believe in a Miracle?

Curtains Fall

The Key to Deception

Jordan Kingsley was a man with some bad habits but a good sense of business. His fortune had afforded him many advantages, including various artifacts and awards that adorned his large hall. However, the most prized possession he had acquired in his lifetime was a set of ten rare beads, each worth a million dollars. This fact wasn't a secret among his acquaintances, who included his elder brother, Benjamin Kingsley, his wife, Harriet Kingsley, and their son, Clinton Kingsley. Unfortunately, Clinton was autistic, though remarkably creative, and Jordan felt a special bond with him, sponsoring his education out of genuine love rather than pity. Jordan was selective about those he let into his heart, reserving his true affection for those who earned it. This often excluded his own brother, his brother's wife, and even his business partners. Harriet, aware of Jordan's distant relationship with her son, made efforts to keep Clinton away from Jordan, fearing that the uncle's ...

CHAPTER SIX: THE FLAMES

MAYOR'S OFFICE  Gryffin Scout smoked heavily looking out of the window at the moon. "What are my orders sir," said a cop in the room, "I want to meet JJ Warren, as quick as possible, things are getting insane, I can't take further risks, let's see what he has to offer me, contact him tomorrow morning," said Scout.  THE WAREHOUSE From the window at the roof of the warehouse, a can of fuel fell to the floor, after which a matchstick fell, raising flames in the entire space. Warren looked at the rising flames anxiously when he ran to a corner saving himself from the rising flames approaching him. "Why are you doing this?" Warren shouted in a rage, "I will kill you JJ Warren, I promise you, this will be your end, and I am honored to kill such a worthy opponent tonight!" said the echo. "Leave my friends alone, they are innocent, don't hurt them!" shouted Warren, "They will die before you, I assure you of that, and this w...
