THE WIZARD- ACT 5

 SCENE 1

London, Eadger's office

Charlie: How the hell, did he find out? We left no clue

Eadger: Charlie Spencer! you are fired!

Charlie: What did I do now? Even you were involved in all this

Eadger: Not for that, but for asking a stupid question. Of course, he knew, I took his certificates under his bed, don't you think he will look under his bed once or twice a week? And of course, we refused his coffee, which was alone enough to bring doubt to his mind.

Charlie: Yeah, and maybe, he had more loyal or more intelligent spies than ours

First Spy: Don't get me started Charlie Spencer! we did our job, and he is too clever! he left no clue even to his staff about all the magic tricks he performs. He is a wizard, a real wizard!

Eadger: Please, go home, all of you spies need some rest, me and Charlie will take it from here.

Charlie: What next?

Eadger: He insulted me in front of everyone, and now it's his turn to get insulted in front of the whole world to see.

SCENE 2

Thomas' Guest Room

Thomas: Coffee?

Eadger: I am done with your stupid Coffee! Tell me, why did you do that?

Thomas: I already told you, magic is my passion!

Eadger: I am not talking about your dirty trick! I want to know, why did you insult me on the stage!

Thomas: Why did I insult you? You insulted yourself Detective, and it was important for the world to know, who is responsible for their security. This mayor and his son were insulted on the stage, not you. For you, I don't even keep a grudge for lying to me and entering my personal space, because you were too easy to get fooled. What do you think, you took everything from me? No, I gave you everything on purpose!

Eadger: Wow, you gave me everything on purpose!

Charlie: Can you please stop fighting? act like fucking adults now. What you did on the stage was wrong Thomas, we do not work like that! you could have confronted us in private.

Thomas: Well, that's a decent way to say that, because of which, I beg your apology, Mr. Spencer, please forgive me, and for Detective Eadger, Go to Hell!

Eadger: How did you do it?

Thomas: You think, it's that easy?

Eadger takes out a gun from his coat and points it to Thomas

Eadger: Let me show you a magic trick instead sir, now this toy will turn your age zero! How about that? The Passage Of Time!

Charlie jumps in to stop Eadger from doing anything when Eadger controls himself and takes the gun down

Charlie: Control yourself, even though I was insulted, my ego isn't that big that I kill someone!

Thomas: He is right, you have a big ego

Eadger: My question remains unchanged, how did you do it?

Thomas: Duplicate, I used a duplicate of mine, and that duplicate is my own brother. He and I planned this entire trick and performed it, but there are too many details to it.

Eadger: I would love to know those details, please

Thomas: A Magician never reveals his tricks Detective, and moreover, I thought you were that intelligent to realize the trick by now, and if you haven't, get out there, use all your brain, and find the answer on your own!

Eadger: Will see you on the stage in a week!

SCENE 3

On a train to Nancy, France

Eadger: I am sorry

Charlie: What?

Eadger: I am sorry for everything, when you burst at me, you mentioned I have an ego. Maybe, I have an ego, a big ego, but I can't let that intervene in my behavior with people close to me. You are like a little brother to me Charles, it's been five years with you, and I am sorry if that ever hurt you.

Charlie: It's okay Ed, I don't feel bad because of you.

Eadger: You know where he lives?

Charlie: Ed! Why do we have to do this? end this now, Cooper Cultman and his son are idiots, they are worthy of insults, we don't need to go to Nancy and do all this, we can just go to France for a trip if you would like!

Eadger: Cooper and his son deserve to be humiliated, alright, but do I deserve to be humiliated like that? Do you deserve to be humiliated like that? Did Doctor Zushu deserve that? No, you know who has a bigger ego, Thomas Geedar! And I want to crush that ego because his ego has conflicted with mine!

Charlie: Do whatever you want, and Hey what was his brother's name again?

Eadger: Criek, his brother's name was Criek, named after some frog, idiots.

Charlie: I think he was just giving bullshit, we must not waste our time on this clue of his. What I think, is that earlier was his father who took the role of that 70-year-old man, and then interchanged with the original Thomas, and now he interchanged himself with his own son, who is 30 years old.

Eadger: That's again bullshit, he has no family as of now, that is all we know, there was no proof for his family. Lily married someone else, and Roger confirmed the death of his father. And my spies had been keeping an eye on these people, they had no contact with Thomas after that interview.

Charlie: If you want to try this new theory of a twin brother, you can go ahead!

SCENE 4

Nancy, France, In a rainy forest garden beside a small hut

Enter Charlie, Eadger, and Doctor Francis Jacob

Eadger: Nobel Prize! Doctor (shakes hand), the Nobel Prize is again waiting for you, big fan!

Charlie: Greetings sir, Charlie Spencer, didn't expect to meet you in this place

Doctor Jacob: Well I like such quiet and natural places to work. And moreover, the closer to nature you get, the more it gives you. I read your letter Detective, there is very little with what I can help you with, but I will try my level best.

Charlie: What are we exactly planning here?

Doctor Jacob: I thought you knew! Didn't you inform your subordinate eh Detective?

Eadger: No, but he will find out very soon.

The Key to Deception

Jordan Kingsley was a man with some bad habits but a good sense of business. His fortune had afforded him many advantages, including various artifacts and awards that adorned his large hall. However, the most prized possession he had acquired in his lifetime was a set of ten rare beads, each worth a million dollars. This fact wasn't a secret among his acquaintances, who included his elder brother, Benjamin Kingsley, his wife, Harriet Kingsley, and their son, Clinton Kingsley. Unfortunately, Clinton was autistic, though remarkably creative, and Jordan felt a special bond with him, sponsoring his education out of genuine love rather than pity. Jordan was selective about those he let into his heart, reserving his true affection for those who earned it. This often excluded his own brother, his brother's wife, and even his business partners. Harriet, aware of Jordan's distant relationship with her son, made efforts to keep Clinton away from Jordan, fearing that the uncle's ...

CHAPTER SIX: THE FLAMES

MAYOR'S OFFICE  Gryffin Scout smoked heavily looking out of the window at the moon. "What are my orders sir," said a cop in the room, "I want to meet JJ Warren, as quick as possible, things are getting insane, I can't take further risks, let's see what he has to offer me, contact him tomorrow morning," said Scout.  THE WAREHOUSE From the window at the roof of the warehouse, a can of fuel fell to the floor, after which a matchstick fell, raising flames in the entire space. Warren looked at the rising flames anxiously when he ran to a corner saving himself from the rising flames approaching him. "Why are you doing this?" Warren shouted in a rage, "I will kill you JJ Warren, I promise you, this will be your end, and I am honored to kill such a worthy opponent tonight!" said the echo. "Leave my friends alone, they are innocent, don't hurt them!" shouted Warren, "They will die before you, I assure you of that, and this w...
