NEW YORK, December 1890
Fixing his hair with his hands and fixing his tie before he could give a speech, Gryffin Scout was a very scared man. Picking up the portrait of his mother and father he kissed it following a smile and then kept it on the table back taking a sigh, he walked out of the room to the stage where the crowd awaited him.
"My dear fellows, it's an owner to be addressing you all on this occasion," shouted Gryffin to the public who eagerly heard their 35-year-old young and bright politician on the stage, "It's hard to trust any politician these days, be it a younger one or an older one with gray hair, but I assure you all, my mom and dad are looking at me from the stars and they won't let me lie, not today when I kissed the cheek of my father's portrait and someone who always taught me the political ethics and how to apply them for benefit of mankind, and not my own pocket," Gryffin spoke for the next thirty minutes on how a man like him would be glad to bring up a revolution in the socio-economic conditions of the country and give people and children of the country a bright future ahead. Coming from the streets himself and forming a political party Gryffin had much confidence in bringing this huge change. And after the speech was over he headed to interview with the newspaper writers and editors about his future plans.
KINGWILL RESIDENTIAL AREA, SAME AFTERNOON
"Mom! my Peter is not getting out of the train, should I give him another trip?" asked a five-year-old to his mother working in the kitchen for his dad sitting on a couch. The boy was playing with his cotton toy and a wooden train when a shadow fell on his entire station. The boy observing someone, look back and saw a man in a tight black suit with a mask on his face, and holding a gun in his hands. The man softly moved his hand on the child's hair to give him one last cuddle, and a shot was heard by his mother accompanied by a scream by the child. The mother came out in a rush to look at her dead kid and a pool of blood all around when she gave a horrifying scream too and the man inevitably killed the mother too. Then came the father jumped on the scene in horrific big eyes but before he could do anything. The masked man shot him dead too. The entire house was filled in the pool of blood when the masked man slightly opened the window of the house from where he actually came in, and jumps outside to witness several such mind-shattering screams from every other house in the kingwill area.
Some civilians tried to run from their houses but the team of masked men shot them all badly. The unity of these thirty masked men brought ultimate destruction to the entire area. Humans begging for mercy were shot thrice. The entire ground was bathed with blood all around and dead people everywhere. These masked men were walking all around making sure that none of the civilians remains alive. After they all were dead and silence dominated the entire place and all the streets were filled with only three things, blood, dead people, and terror, these masked men gathered in a truck nearby and entered it one by one shooting off from the place.
This horror soon spread in the entire city when people literally caught their breath and were terrified as hell. The most beautiful area in the entire city was now the center of bloodshed and horror. People were praying for the souls of the dead one and praying for their peace. The churches were filling their air prayers all around for the dead ones. The entire city was in shock. People were on their toes, terrified about their own safety now. The entire city went in a rage and demanded immediate actions to take place.
Victor Smith, the current Mayor of the city, the most powerful man in the place became aware of this incident when he started his investigations as soon as possible and sent a team of cops to investigate the entire place.
VICTOR SMITH'S MANSION, SAME NIGHT
"You can take the night off folks, I have a lot of pain in my ass, for all that happened today. God bless the dead ones, may their souls rest in peace, power to all," The Mayor headed to his bed giving an off to the entire staff of the house. He entered his warm bed took the blanket on and closed the lights and his eyes. After a few minutes of going to sleep, he heard the sound of opening the window when he woke up and stepped out of the bed. He got goosebumps on his arms and was now on his toes when he held a knife in his hands and headed outside the room to the veranda. Looking around in dark he saw nothing when shouted fiercely. Behind him was a similarly masked man having a knife in his hands which was conjured on the back of our Mayor. Victor gave another shout when the killer blew up his eyeballs conjuring knife into them, and he cut his throat finally giving him a deadly end.
Victor's body was then dragged by the man and kept on a sofa. The masked man then when inside the kitchen and started preparing tea. On preparing the tea he poured it inside a cup and kept the cup on a table in front of Victor's dead meat.
As the sun rose, the housemaid entered the mansion. Smelling tea she realized that her master has already woken up so she went into the veranda and saw dead Victor sitting on a sofa with a cup of tea in front of him and she gave a huge shriek. The police arrived in a few minutes and saw their dead Mayor when the investigation began. The way blood was spilled around, the sofa and table dragged in Veranda, and a cup of tea kept in front of the body, the police preferred not to interfere but call someone who can handle this situation with some amount of preparation.
JJ Warren, the only name in their head. Soon Warren arrived at the place and took the lead. "I hope, you were clever enough to not touch any of these things kept in the mansion," said Warren in a low voice to the head officer, "Spencer, drink a sip of tea," said Warren looking at Spencer who was confused if Warren wanted to kill him if somehow the tea had poison in it, "Do you really want me to drink the tea?" asked Spencer, "Yes, I want you to drink the tea!" said Warren in a rather louder voice. Spencer without his will still took a sip of the tea. Warren and Spencer waited for a few seconds when Warren continued, "Well, Spencer didn't die, so this tea, this cup could just be a shred of fake evidence kept by the killer in order to fool us, but if you will..." said Warren, when Spencer interrupted, "But James! something is written inside the cup! seems like a riddle!" Warren headed towards the cup and help it in his hands. "But maybe, this could help us in some way I guess. On my command officers, do not touch anything kept in this mansion leave it as it is, I and my team will continue the investigation, and figure out what this tea has to offer," said Warren ending with his powerful but boastful and rather famous, smirk.
