Louis Luther was a good man. He used to wake up a six, take a bath, his wife prepared breakfast for him, and his lunch for a break from work in the afternoon. Louis while walking down the street to his workstation used to greet every single man he encountered in his way. He used to joke with kids, sometimes play with them in the streets. His own kids were also sweet, he had a daughter who was six and a son who was three years old. Louis had one principle, do good and have good. So he used to do good for everyone, wanted everyone to smile because of him but sometimes he didn't get the results. Sometimes, people would shut him up but Louis would never give up. That's what a good man is, a pure soul with a golden heart. Louis just had one problem in his life, his friend Bob Harley. Bob was rude and loud to Louis since the beginning of this business. Sitting on the main counter as the owner he would order Louis to work, though this work belonged to both of them equally. Louis still would never hesitate since this was the only source of his daily bread. To sum up, Louis was any other common good man.
Five days passed after the death of Olivia which broke JJ Warren. Warren left the job and went back to live with his family in the village for Olivia was the only family he had in the town. Spencer and a few other cops visited Warren one day. Warren had been sitting idle, sleeping and eating these five days and trying to forget everything that happened in his days of work. Warren no longer wanted to be called a detective and prefered being called James by everyone now. Spencer asked Warren about returning to work to which Warren coldly denied and said firmly that he will never return back to that town. Spencer and the other cops were still busy protecting Flavius and Kevin and these five days there was not even a single attack from Fisk's side. Gunther Fisk was a name Warren never wanted to hear again.
January started and came with a new beginning of a new year. But the wind was still cold. "You fool I told you to talk with Mr Drey and you didn't even leave, I will compensate it from your salary!" shouted Bob Harley on Louis' face. "I went there, his servant said he won't be able to meet us, and told to come next week," said Louis. "Your lying dork! you never went there, I will pay you less this time, it was a big deal," said Bob coldly, "You have no right to pay me less, this business is owned equally by both of us, you can't talk like that!" said Louis with a shivering voice with a hint of fear. Bob made a big fist and punched Louis hard on the face, "Stay quiet! this is my business, and you just work for me, and if you have a problem fucking leave this place and do your own shit," said Bob. Louis had some tears in his eyes but what option did he have other than continuing this work.
Getting back home, Louis tried to hide the mark on his face caused by the punch from his children. Moving to his bedroom he saw a box kept on the bed which was sealed. "What's this box sweety?" Louis asked his wife, "Oh a man came to send this to you and he said that only you will open it, what is it?" said his wife. "I don't know, maybe he made a mistake, I'll see what is it, you make the table tonight," said Louis when his wife went to make the table, luckily his wife too didn't notice the mark on his face. Louis opened the box and to his shock, there was a gun kept inside with a piece of paper which read,
Dear Louis, Greetings, I am sending this parcel for you containing a gun. This gun actually belongs to me but keep it with you as a gift for being too nice in this dark world. Don't lose this gun, and don't tell the police, this is for you and your family's protection. Hide this from everyone and use it if you want to. I know you are a nice man, I will contact you soon.
Gunther Fisk
Louis freaked for a second and thought of telling this to his wife but hid the gun under the bed and went for his dinner. The whole night, Louis couldn't sleep with the very thought of having the gun. He decided that the next morning he would go to the police station and give them the gun and also the parcel box.
The next morning Louis took the gun and left for his workstation. Reaching the workstation, the scene was disturbing. Bob had taken out Louis' equipment and thrown them out of the workplace in the middle of the street. "Hey! Bob, what is all this? why are my things thrown out?" asked Louis, "I thought of giving you a break, why not spend time with your family now and take a break from this work forever?" said Bob. "No, please don't do this, you know this is the only source of income I have, I have kids, and a wife to feed, why are you doing this to me? what wrong have I done?" shouted Louis. "Get lost, you don't belong here anymore or I would have to kick you out," said Bob coldly when Louis punched Bob's face and Bob came into a rage.
He slapped Louis tightly in the middle of the street when everyone came out of their shops to look at the drama. Louis got another slap from Bob and he fell on the ground, "What the hell you think of yourself? your kids will die hungry!" shouted Bob. No good man is always good. Louis stood up, took out the gun he had, and shot Bob dead in the middle of the street which created chaos all around. Louis shot another bullet and killed Bob completely. After that, Louis shivered and looked around, and dropped the gun. Louis' mask got removed which he was wearing all this time. This was the real face of Louis.
