HOUSE OF THE LOST- CHAPTER 5

"The legend begins before the era of Christ. Flavius Mollen and his wife Georgia Mollen were doubted as a wizard and a witch practising dark arts. Using their knowledge they accumulated a lot of wealth and age but these powers were short-lived. People in the colony didn't know about their reality but they knew them as atheists. So, people would not talk to them, avoid them at every cost, do not invite them and their children would not play with their small kid Argus Mollen. Argus was always punished at his school and teased by teachers and children. He felt all left out when one-day things grew worse. Flavius was caught doing black magic at the house when he was burnt in his own house alive including his wife and son. But Flavius somehow managed to protect his wife and son and sent them out to survive but couldn't save himself.

Georgia and Argus used to hide in the forest when Georgia discovered this cave. She fed her son and felt every kind of disgust and envy against the civilians. Georgia's love for Flavius was unconditional, he was the only thing Georgia ever loved when she decided to perform a ritual to get her lover back to life. But a soul for a soul they say, so she decided to sacrifice the soul of her only son Argus to Satan. Argus was slain by Georgia when the devil accepted his soul but forgot to return Flavius' soul to Georgia. Broke with the death of her son and husband, Georgia couldn't live anymore, so she decided to kill herself to go to her beloved. And she died conjuring a knife in her neck.

And finally, the family reunited in hell. Georgia's gave a tight hug to her husband and son but the son left her arms. Argus was sad, he didn't want to die so early. Seeing his pain, Georgia and Flavius begged Satan to free Argus and send him back to life. Satan was fond of little Argus and was impressed by the family's loyalty. So, he decided to send Argus back, but before sending him back he altered his soul into a powerful demonic creature. Now, it was not a normal weak human soul, it was power. Argus could now change reality, live for infinite ages, control people's mind and do anything he wanted. Little Argus began his mischievous now. He killed all those responsible for his father's death, he killed all the children who would not play with him and haunted the town with an illusory spirit. He grew up torturing everyone in the town when only a few people were left and they left it as soon as possible.

The old Argus now wanted to play a bigger game. So he found the cave where he was sacrificed and merged the town inside that cave changing its reality. He made this whole new place and a magical town whose beauty was a trap. He decided to trap people and kill them to serve Satan with their souls. He was the one to make all the magical rules there. When five young men finally entered the place who got lost. Argus killed them ruthlessly and served Satan with their soul with which Satan increased his powers. But then, the cave was forbidden by the outside real world and hardly anyone came inside. Oh, and the bloodstains you saw on the walls were the blood of those five men. But then one day, Bill arrived, and then Marie, and then Tony and then Elsa. But only one human was left to make them five, and then came you, Peter. I saw you on the terrace of the house and smiled and from that very day made numerous attempts to trap you all.

Made all of you sick, tried to injure Tony in the woods, and then I saw you figure out a way out of this place. That rabbit you sent outside, was also created by me. So, I built up a whole colony far away from the cave so that it becomes impossible for you to leave. Tried to frame Marie, made her suspicious all the time. Played mind games, made strategies, just to kill you all. But you finally caught me genius. Bravo! my son, Bravo!" said the old man, reciting his story to Peter who was held in the air and was slowly being choked by the old man. "You will never complete your work!" said Peter, when the old man grinned, "It was you all the time." "Trust is something very delicate to play with. And now, I would slowly wipe all of you out of this place and you won't be able to save anyone of them," said the old man.

The old man left Peter from the air and threw him on the ground. Peter got up on his feet and tried to punch the old man but couldn't touch him when the old man covered himself with an invisible shield. The place where they both were in was a small shelter built up by the old man which was supported by just one wooden pillar. Peter fled up to the pillar and displaced it from its place shredding off the place on the old man's head overpowering him and capturing him underneath all the rocks and wooden planks the shed was made up of. Finding the opportunity, Peter fled to the house to save all from the old man's upcoming death rain.

The Key to Deception

Jordan Kingsley was a man with some bad habits but a good sense of business. His fortune had afforded him many advantages, including various artifacts and awards that adorned his large hall. However, the most prized possession he had acquired in his lifetime was a set of ten rare beads, each worth a million dollars. This fact wasn't a secret among his acquaintances, who included his elder brother, Benjamin Kingsley, his wife, Harriet Kingsley, and their son, Clinton Kingsley. Unfortunately, Clinton was autistic, though remarkably creative, and Jordan felt a special bond with him, sponsoring his education out of genuine love rather than pity. Jordan was selective about those he let into his heart, reserving his true affection for those who earned it. This often excluded his own brother, his brother's wife, and even his business partners. Harriet, aware of Jordan's distant relationship with her son, made efforts to keep Clinton away from Jordan, fearing that the uncle's ...

CHAPTER SIX: THE FLAMES

MAYOR'S OFFICE  Gryffin Scout smoked heavily looking out of the window at the moon. "What are my orders sir," said a cop in the room, "I want to meet JJ Warren, as quick as possible, things are getting insane, I can't take further risks, let's see what he has to offer me, contact him tomorrow morning," said Scout.  THE WAREHOUSE From the window at the roof of the warehouse, a can of fuel fell to the floor, after which a matchstick fell, raising flames in the entire space. Warren looked at the rising flames anxiously when he ran to a corner saving himself from the rising flames approaching him. "Why are you doing this?" Warren shouted in a rage, "I will kill you JJ Warren, I promise you, this will be your end, and I am honored to kill such a worthy opponent tonight!" said the echo. "Leave my friends alone, they are innocent, don't hurt them!" shouted Warren, "They will die before you, I assure you of that, and this w...
