CAPTAIN FREAK 2 - CHAPTER 2: DARK CLOUDS

 


"I didn't know how to use a gun, but now I have done a whole lot of practice on it. I can even shoot you at my will. But you know that's just for safety." said Nancy staring at her gun in her hands. "Then I assume you are ready, Freak Girl!" said Josh. Dr. Josh was Dr.Haris' brother. After his death, he was the only deserving candidate left for the elections. Josh and Haris were never so friendly, not even in the news, so the world thought, that the killing of Haris might be an attempt of Josh. "I am fully aware that it's been a month since we arrested Andy, and the news, says that it's me, who did all that and then simply put Andy behind the bars, if somehow, we kill Andy, I'll gain public support for revenge and become the hero of the city," said Josh. "But he is the hero right now. You are just another piece of shit for the public. If you kill him you might win, but how are you going to suppress his supporters, they call themselves Freak Party. And they are planning to run Andy for the next elections after he is out." said Nancy, "We don't need to worry, he'll be dead then and I'll be in power, we'll suppress them easily." said Josh, "Alright then! free him from the jail, and leave him with me," said Nancy standing up in a position to leave, "You and me, we both want him dead, and I ever want to kill him,". "Go get him, Nancy," said Josh.

"Freak Girl! thanks for the new name," said Nancy and left.

The doors of the prison opened for Andy who was summoned outside, he had a visitor, someone old. Andy was curious to know that who in the world was so concerned about him. And then he saw Nancy. Both stared at each other for some time, and then, Andy smiled, and said, "Hi!","Hi Andy! I know it's been a while, and I was missing you,"

"You were missing me? really?"

"Yes, after Henry, there was no one with me, all I had were you. And I thought you were someone who really cared about me, so I came back to you,"

"What do you want now?" 

"I got you bail, it took me one month to get permission from Dr.Josh. He finally agreed."

"One month, I can believe that. They are family villains, his brother was too an asshole." 

"And I want to start a relationship between two of us, that's what you ever wanted," said Nancy and Andy finally smiled.

Andy came out of the prison and joined hands with Nancy. Since that day the two started spending time together. They used to go to the church, to restaurants, visited each other at their places, had their time together. "I want my old Andy back, not any Captain Freak," Nancy used to say. Andy whenever came back tried significantly hard to get himself back. One night, when he was home drunk he went to his room and leaned himself against the same wall on which he drew captain freak. "Nice show Captain, you did a great job for the world, you service would be ever remembered. A halo on your head, with horns, that's what you really are. A hero and a villain. But for Nancy you are a problem. She wants you to go back, she wants an end of you now. I know we have been friends for a long time now, but Nancy is giving me a chance to new life. So, now let's get parted and say 'Goodbye' forever." said Andy, and brought a knife. He peeled off the drawing of Captain Freak slowly and slowly, singing, 'Goodbye forever' in his mouth. Meanwhile he did all this, he saw Captain Freak standing near the door staring at him. He also stared him and smiled. And Captain left. For the next few days it was just Nancy and Andy and no one else. Finally, Andy was back to a happy one.

"Nancy! I need an egg, can you bring me one," said Andy while he was cooking toast for Nancy, "Sure!" said Nancy bringing him an egg. "I was thinking something,"said Andy,

"What?"

"Let's talk to you parents about us,"

"Oh, my parents..."

"Why? what's wrong?"

"They left me, or I left them, forever,"

"Oh, I am sorry, it was all because of me," said Andy when Nancy took Andy in her arms and said, "No, it was not because of you, you never did anything wrong,", "They what's the problem?" asked Andy,

"Alright I think we should meet tomorrow in the evening, on the bridge" said Nancy, "but you need to be in your best clothes, there is a surprise for you". "What surprise?" said Andy in a jerk of excitement, "You'll know it tomorrow, and don't be late," said Nancy.

Outside the window dark clouds were emerging in the sky. Cold city.
