Radioactivity - Draft

 The story revolves around a radioactive bombing on a city by another nation. The residents of the city die and many living on the outskirts get long term effects of radioactivity, which may pass on to their generations as a curse. The person responsible for all this is the ruthless General Edgar Richards who retires after this mission, to spend his retirement with his friends, and family.

An affected couple Xaviour and Polina, who were engaged before the bombing loose their families completely, while Polina gets severly affected. Her brain cells are damaged which causes her to hallucinate and unable to use her motor functions properly or talk sanely. She isn't able to continue her life, Xaviour on the other hand experiences cancer and red marks on skin making his face almost like a monster and red and brown. The responsible nation accepts it's mistake and as an act of apology gives the opportunity of bringing the affected people into their nations, giving them jobs or living based on their conditions and even aid their medical conditions for free.

Xaviour and Polina move to the nation, where Xaviour wishes to take care of Polina till his last breath, without telling her that he has a short span of life. Polina is attempted to get r*ped but Xaviour somehow saves her. The two face many challenges on a daily basis and their life becomes hell. Xaviour's blood boils on seeing General Edgar living a completely normal life with his family and completely happy, and he wants to destroy him.

Polina suffers from severe fits and is hospitalized immediately. The doctors take the case for granted as many patients have died due to the effects of radiation, and do not want to waste resources. Xaviour begs them but is not paid heed to. He comforts Polina by lying to her that she will be alright. But Polina dies. Xaviour alone burries her and performs her funeral, and gets alone.

He spends months in Polina's memories, suffering from the undeserved tragedy they were caused by this nation he was living in. The doctor tells him that he has only a week left to live, when he plans to do something he had been always planning to - revenge. He sets out on a journey to eliminate General Edgar, and builds a plan to kill him on his daughter's wedding day. The General is already alerted about the plans of his executions, when he decides to not attend his daughter's wedding, but keeps it a secret until the day. On the day of his daughter's wedding, Xaviour plants the bomb in their house, and the bomb explodes killing every member of General's family ruthlessly. General suffers a severe heart attack on knowing of this incident and is hospitalized. 

Xaviour visits him in the hospital and lets him know that it was him who caused his family to die, and he did this so that General experiences the same pain that he and Polina had to suffer. He wants the General to die every day in the memory of his loved ones.

Xaviour then leaves to Polina's grave and collapses into the snow. The cold and snow cause him bleeding and he knows that this will cause his death. He lays by Polina's side smiling and accepts his end.
