The Screammaker Summary

 CHAPTER 1- Belt Of Time

The store begins with 13-year-old Eden Hunt, who lives with his mom and dad in New Jersey. On evening he is visted by a man about 40 years of age who tells him he is Eden from future, and has travelled in time to get back to him so that he doesn't make the mistakes that he is about to make. The young and Eden and the Old Eden then set out on a journey across time. The older Eden uses a Time Belt to travel in time, and the belt is always attached to him like a body part. The two set out on an adventure across various times, various new planets, and various new stories. Years pass by and Eden reveals one of the darkest chapters of his life to young Eden. He shows him the death of his wife Clea, which forced him to become cold hearted warrior. Older Eden then reveals that a man named Screammaker killed his wife, for which he will avenge. Two years pass by like this, and Young Eden grows a bit of envy for Older Eden when he steals the Time Belt when Older one was showering. This happens in 1870's timeline, when Young Eden escapes the older Eden leaving him stuck forever in 1870.

CHAPTER 2- Clea

Eden then begins his own journey, starting with finding Clea. He spends a few more years looking for Clea when he fails miserably each time in every timeline. When one day he enters Ancient Egypt and falls for a young Egyptian girl called Mara. Mara serves the Paraoh as a slave, to which Eden plans to help her escape the Paraoh. Both Mara and Eden fall in love and this is unacceptable for the Paraoh. Eden uses the advanced tech he stole from the future to kill the Paraoh, and takes his place as the new king, with Mara by his side as his Queen. They spend ten years in Egypt as a Royal couple when Eden finally reveals Mara that he wants to travel across time and find a new adventure. He hands over the kingdom his last Paraoh's step brother and leaves the place forever. Both Eden and Mara then enter 1980s era and decide to make a living there with a new genre of music. Eden introduces Electro Pop in the 80s and names his and Mara's band as the Screammakers (inspired by the man who killed his wife). He renames himself and Mara with their new stage name as Clay and Clea. Clay and Clea spend another few years with a huge success in music and fame. One evening during an event the two are attacked by a gang of assassins, from whom the two somehow survive.

CHAPTER 3- The Screammaker

Eden and Clea learn that the attack was from the actual Screammaker who is an eternal being and wants to punish Eden for the sin of breaking the rules of time. A war begins, and Eden and Clea set out on a journey to escape the attacks of the Screammaker. The two are finally held captive by the Screammaker and presented before him. Eden and Clea escape somehow and come back to the same time when young Eden was taken by the older Eden for his journey. Eden introduces Clea to his parents who are shocked to find Eden as a grown-up. The two decide to live together as a family, and Clea gets pregnant. The house rejoices again and Eden decides to get a job. One day when Eden is absent, the Screammaker sneaks into the house and murders Clea. On Eden's return he is thrashed and broken to see his dead wife when he hears the older Eden and the Young Eden looking at him grieving his dead wife, and the Older Eden directing him to become cold hearted. Eden sets out for revenge from the Screammaker, when he tresspasses into his castle built at the end of the time, and starts annhilating his entire army. The Screammaker and Eden start a battle, when Eden manages to take the mask off Screammaker just to find out that he is no one but Eden himself but just older. This is the same Eden he ditched in 1870.

CHAPTER 4- Betrayal

Eden understands this all to be a revenge for the betrayal he made years ago, when Screammaker tells him that his death is necessary. The two then keep on battling for years on different places and times when Eden has built an army of his own to defeat Screammaker. But Screammaker remains undefeated. During  a war Eden decides to give up and ditches his leftover army and plans to hide. He grows up to be 40 year old now, when he decides to mentor his younger self into not making the mistakes he made. Eden before he can go back in time is confronted again by Screammaker with whom a small quarel starts when he successfully escapes him and goes back to his 13-year-old self. And the entire journey repeats. This time Eden is the one directing his younger selves to stay cold hearted to avoid the grief of Clea. Eden always keeps the belt to himself in order to avoid the betrayal he will do to himself. But the inevitable happens, and the young Eden escapes with the belt leaving our Eden stuck in 1870. Eden, stuck in this time is no longer powerful and has no idea what to do. He starts working as a shoemaker, and spends the next 10 years of his life alone without friends, or love. Changed completely he starts getting older, when one evening he is visited by a guest. The guest is an 80-year-old man who is on his deathbed. The old man claims to be the Screammaker, who is now living his last breath. He reveals the biggest secret to Eden, that all of this that happened was never supposed to happen. He was supposed to live a normal life, but he made a gamble with time and all of this happened, which can still be avoided if he decides to break the loop. And the loop can be broken if he figures out where it all starts from. The Screammaker passes on his Time belt to Eden and passes his Screammaker mask to Eden and takes his last breath.

CHAPTER 5- Heads Or Tails

Eden weilds the identity of The Screammaker and sets out to end this all. He travels across time as a warrior and rebuilds his army, stronger than the last one. He builds an entire empire for himself in the end of time, and starts planning for ending this time loop. He wonders from where did the belt came from? as it was always handed over to him by himself. He gives the belt to a team of researchers to study when they find out that there was always a hidden camera in this belt which had recorded the entire loop millions of times. But it all starts with one footage. Eden watches the footage where he sees himself again as a 40-year-old man, but different- he is a scientist who has just invented the belt. In the footage Eden speaks that he is about to conduct a probability experiment where he shall flip a coin and decide. If it's heads, he shall go back in time to his younger self and take him on a journey across time and space else he should stay home and bury this belt forever. Unfortunately he got heads, and this entire loop of time started. Eden figures out that the starting point of this all is when Young Eden is recruited. And to stop that he must kill Eden before he turns 40. And the journey begins. Eden spends his few years chasing after Eden as the Screammaker. He decides to break Eden apart for a final time by killing Clea so that Eden might come to him directly and he can kill him. But he soon realizes that killing Clea was a bad choice, he could have left her alive and see what happens. The Screammaker understands that this all was a game of probability when Eden turns 40 finally, and decides to recruit Young Eden again. Screammaker builds up a plan and sets out to stop Eden. The two repeat a fight where Older Eden wins again and goes back to Younger one. But here's the twist. The younger one refuses to join him on this journey. Screammaker enters the room and confronts the older Eden that he has already made the Young Eden aware of what happens, he could not make him feel it, but he knows. The three stand facing each other when 40-year-old Eden drops a tear and the two start vanishing. Eden and Eden vanish in thin air like they never existed for the young Eden the two become a faded memory, a dream, and an idea. An idea which forces him to study and become a scientist so that he can build a time belt which he saw in a dream once.

Young Eden grows up normally, marries the girl he loves, has a daughter, and finally his Time Belt comes to reality. Eden then flips the coin to decide whether he should leave or stay. The coin flips to Tails this time, and Eden disappointed, but calm, dismantles the belt and burries it forever in his backyard. He then goes to his dining room to enjoy a dinner with his happy family.

Chapter 10- The Flaw In Their Plan

Edward slowly stepped out from behind the tree, revealing himself to Peter. He had Professor Flamel pinned by the throat, his wand pressed inches from the old man’s face. “Peter… you don’t understand,” Edward said, advancing. “This is necessary. I have to do this.” Peter backed away, wand raised, heart hammering. “I trusted you,” he choked out. “I thought so highly of you, Professor. How did you even get back into Hogwarts? Who helped you? Tell me!” Edward’s grip on Flamel tightened. “I will tell you everything, Peter. I promise. But let me finish this. I must kill him. Fifteen years I’ve waited—fifteen years for this moment!” “Expelliarmus!” Peter shouted, sending a jet of red light through the air—but Edward snapped his wand and blocked it with ease. “Sectumsempra!” Edward roared. The curse flew at Peter like a black blade. His reflexes kicked in; he dove sideways, but not fast enough. His right cheek tore open, his arm split with a deep gash, and he crashed onto the ground, screamin...

Chapter 5- Bronze Snitch

Fictus Nativitas Peter found the spell in the diary. He murmured the description and usage of the spell slowly, making sure no one in the library could hear him. “Think of the object you wish to mimic—think closely—and then repeat clearly and precisely: Fictus Nativitas.” Peter knew exactly what he needed to mimic, what he needed to create. He practiced the spell under his breath all the way back to the dormitory. Later, sitting upright on his bed after his roommates had fallen asleep, Peter took out the diary once more. He reread the instructions, closed his eyes, and envisioned the wonderful moment he longed for: tomorrow’s match, the Golden Snitch clutched in his hand, his face glowing with triumph as the crowd roared. Peter could almost feel the victory. Slowly, he opened his eyes and raised his wand.  “Fictus Nativitas,” he whispered.                                ...
