CAPTAIN FREAK- CHAPTER 1: BAD JOKE

It was a stormy evening with a grey sky and drops rushing their way on the ground. Inside their restaurant where Andy worked the tables were getting free as no more customers were entering. Usually, there were passerby, some old loyal visitors, and a bunch of teenagers who would come to enjoy their victory after matches. Andy was the Janitor there along with other staff members. Being a new guy he was always struggling in making friends there, while the other people of the staff were mostly people of the long run. At this time of the day when their boss left early to pick his son, the staff sat together to make some giggles. Andy joined them too. They all were cracking jokes at the Boss' back about him and his big runny nose. Bob said, "Ethan must be using the toilet paper while pooping not to clean his valley but to clean his wet nose." and there was laughter all around.

Andy was looking as if he was struggling to connect his laugh with these fellows and trying to get a chance to speak up and shine among them all. He was ready to play anything which would come to his mind. "I just had a funny thought guys" Andy finally spoke up. All eyes were at him. "It's funny, we all go to family restaurants and enjoy there, celebrate there, but you know who doesn't?" said Andy. All eyes were still at him, and those eyes were expecting a burst of tearful laughter from his reply. "Orphans!" he said. And this left them in shock. The frown on their face towards Andy grew, when the big Bob stood up and punched hard on Andy's nose. "Shut up! Freak!" said Bob with a frown leaving the place. All started to get up with disgust on their faces and left.

Andy's eyes filled up with tears and blood was running from his nose. This was something he could think of the quickest way possible. And he probably knew that most people working there had family, while it was him was lonely forever.

On his way back home he wrapped up his things and walked in rain to a never-ending road, dragging himself. In the mid of the way he was still frowning at himself, when he stopped in mid and slapped his own cheek as hard as he could, "What the hell were you doing? why can't you fit in them!" and tears rushed in his eyes like raindrops fall on the ground. And then he started moving, along with slapping himself and muttering, " Why can't I fit in them".

Finally entering his filthy empty lonely house he felt warmth. The house was dark and the windows were closed. All the things were messed up and not in their respective places. Andy walked on his way and entered his room where he didn't even lit the lamp and put himself in bed taking his warm quilt over him and closed his eyes for a few moments.

After that, he stepped out of the bed and crawled to the wall in front of him. The rain was still going on and it was getting darker. All the way he could figure his way was by the light through lightening which was going on. He clung himself to the wall and using a pencil he drew a small sketch. He started to draw a man with his normal outline but over the head, there was a halo seeing which he gave a pleasant smile. And under the sketch wrote, 'Captain Freak'. And as he wrote a thrashing sound and his door blew up letting a big giant devil enter his room. Andy got chills seeing that huge giant devil who was no one but Bob himself. "I will kill you Freak!" said the devil. "Save me! Save me! Captain Freak! I need your help, he will kill me." said Andy in a fearful tone while crawling away from the devil. Bob the devil was heading towards him when he slipped and fall on the ground when Andy saw his hero, Captain Freak behind Bob. Captain Freak spoke nothing but held the leg of the villain and pulling it he threw him away in another corner. Andy took the event to his advantage and picked up a knife and headed towards Bob. He conjured the knife in Bob's head and took it out gushing blood from his head. Then he continuously stabbed in the same spot, "Thank you, Captain, you are invincible, you are my hero!" said Andy, when he looked up and Captain Freak was gone. And then he looked down to find that there was no Bob the devil but his own pillow which he was trying to punish all this while.

Realizing all this, Andy dragged himself to the wall near the window. Lightening was still going on when he started laughing at himself. He adjusted himself in a tuck sitting and continued his laugh. Why not? meaning of life after all is to move on.

The Key to Deception

Jordan Kingsley was a man with some bad habits but a good sense of business. His fortune had afforded him many advantages, including various artifacts and awards that adorned his large hall. However, the most prized possession he had acquired in his lifetime was a set of ten rare beads, each worth a million dollars. This fact wasn't a secret among his acquaintances, who included his elder brother, Benjamin Kingsley, his wife, Harriet Kingsley, and their son, Clinton Kingsley. Unfortunately, Clinton was autistic, though remarkably creative, and Jordan felt a special bond with him, sponsoring his education out of genuine love rather than pity. Jordan was selective about those he let into his heart, reserving his true affection for those who earned it. This often excluded his own brother, his brother's wife, and even his business partners. Harriet, aware of Jordan's distant relationship with her son, made efforts to keep Clinton away from Jordan, fearing that the uncle's ...

CHAPTER SIX: THE FLAMES

MAYOR'S OFFICE  Gryffin Scout smoked heavily looking out of the window at the moon. "What are my orders sir," said a cop in the room, "I want to meet JJ Warren, as quick as possible, things are getting insane, I can't take further risks, let's see what he has to offer me, contact him tomorrow morning," said Scout.  THE WAREHOUSE From the window at the roof of the warehouse, a can of fuel fell to the floor, after which a matchstick fell, raising flames in the entire space. Warren looked at the rising flames anxiously when he ran to a corner saving himself from the rising flames approaching him. "Why are you doing this?" Warren shouted in a rage, "I will kill you JJ Warren, I promise you, this will be your end, and I am honored to kill such a worthy opponent tonight!" said the echo. "Leave my friends alone, they are innocent, don't hurt them!" shouted Warren, "They will die before you, I assure you of that, and this w...
